Call 2016 has three programmes tackling two major environmental issues for European road authorities and building on earlier CEDR-funded research in the field of road safety.

With an overall budget of EUR3.07 million, the programme is managed on behalf of CEDR by Rijkswaterstaat of the Netherlands. The funding CEDR members are Austria, Belgium (Flanders), Finland, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands, Norway, Slovenia, Sweden and the UK.
